9th and 10th Grade Counselor

I am happy to be beginning my sixth year as a counselor here at East Limestone High School. It is my pleasure to work with the 9th and 10th grade students to help plan their high school course work to better prepare for life after high school. I know as freshman coming into their high school years students and parents both have many questions.  Please always feel free to come by my office, call the school to talk with me, or send me an e-mail to find the answer to whatever questions you might have.  I try to go into the 9th and 10th grade classrooms at least once a month to do classroom guidance lessons on topics of interest or to give out information on upcoming events or tests.  I'm looking forward to a great year.  Go Indians!!

Biography:

My family is originally from North Carolina and my father's work brought us to Huntsville in 1961.  I grew up in Northwest Huntsville and attended Davis Hills Elementary and Middle Schools and then graduated from Lee High School.  I had a crush on my husband when we were in middle school, but he wouldn't pay much attention to me then.  We met again many years later, when we had children attending the same school. We have been married now for 10 years this October.  Together in our blended family we have four children.  They are all out of the house at this point , three out making it on their own, and one in college.  We have one daughter out of the four, and the oldest son is married and has given us three grandchildren.  We enjoy family times and traveling.
