Greeting Basketball Boosters!
Are you ready for some basketball? The Middle School teams will start their season with a home game on Tuesday, October 26th against Sparkman, and the JV/Varsity get started on Friday, November 12th, at home, against Madison County. Membership Drive - If you haven't already joined the East Limestone Basketball Boosters this year, step up and sign on the dotted line! Seriously, membership does not commit you to anything, but the funds raised provide a great boost to the program. Membership dues are $25 per year, per family, and anyone can join, parents, grandparents, and fans! A membership form is attached and can be returned to the school office with your payment.
Gym Signs - The sponsor signs in the gym are also a great fundraiser for the booster club. We are currently in the process of sending out requests and renewal letters for gym signs. If you would like to suggest a business, please reply with the business name, address, and phone number. (I am also attaching a copy of the sponsor request letter if you would prefer to contact the business in person.)
Note: If you frequent or use the services of any of the businesses that currently have signs, please mention to them that you saw their sign in the East Limestone gymnasium! Hardwood Club Meeting: The basketball boosters will meet on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 8:30 pm in the gym. Membership dues of $25 are still being accepted. Membership forms are available throught the coaches or at the meeting. (Email me, jarita@bellsouth.net, for an electronic copy. Sign Sales: The sign sale date has been extended to Wednesday, October 20th. Please have all your sign information turned in or ready to turn in at the booster meeting.
