BBSST stands for Building Based Student Support Team.  This is a regular education program by which students who are in danger of failing or those with behavioral concerns may receive assistance in the regular education classroom.  The BBSST is a team composed of administrators, counselors, and teachers.  Each student referred for the BBSST is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  Individual situations are reviewed and interventions that can be performed in the classroom are discussed.  Once these recommendations have been implemented, follow-up meetings are held to discuss program efficacy and plans for further action.
