We, the faculty and staff of East Limestone High School, envision a future filled with continued professional and educational growth. We envision improved facilities that are continually updated to meet the evolution of the ever-changing technology in our growing society. We envision a school that strives to include our community in student development in as many areas as possible. We envision a middle school friendly environment for our growing middle school populations that encourages educational development through continual professional development that is focused on student learning. We envision a faculty and staff that are committed to improving in all areas of instruction. Recognizing that each teacher has many different backgrounds and experiences, we envision a program that involves all teachers in student counseling in order to serve as excellent mentors to all students especially students with specific needs and difficulties. We envision a curriculum that includes various selections of electives that appeal to student interests and career needs. We know this vision will be easily achieved because of the care and concern that is prevalent throughout our faculty and staff.
The faculty, staff, parents, and community of East Limestone High School believe that we have a shared responsibility for the education and development of the total child. Realizing that each child is unique and develops at his or her own pace, our community is to provide an appropriate setting for children to develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that this can be accomplished only when parents, teachers, students, and community members work together.
