Hello! I am so excited to be in the library at East Limestone this year! Previously, I taught special education classes at Elkmont High. During the 2005 school year, I decided that I was ready for a change. I enrolled at the University of West Alabama and in December of 2006, I graduated with my Master's degree in Library Science. This has been a very exciting change for me!
I am originally from Decatur. I graduated from Austin in 1991. My family moved to the East Limestone area during the summer of 2008. We love being here! I am married to Danny Betterton. We have two wonderful sons! Jay is 14 and is in 8th grade here at East. Travis is 5 and is in kindergarten at Creekside! I am very proud of both of them! Jay loves to play basketball, Wii and XBox 360 games. I think he would hibernate in his room if we would let him! Travis is growing up very quickly. He loves being in Kindergarten. He tells me all the time that school is just awesome! He loves football, hunting, and playing outside! Please view my Photo Album to see pictures of my family!
