¡Hola!  My name is Lisa King,  although I am often referred to as "Señorita Rey."  I am a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.   This is my 18th year teaching Spanish here at East.  I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Second Language Acquisition Teaching from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!  :) 

Our East group traveled to London, Paris and Madrid in June this summer.  Mrs. Darian Cox and I chapereoned a group of 14 fabulous current and former students who were chosen based on a combination of strong teacher recommendations, great grades, maturity and interest in other cultures.  We were also lucky enough to be accompanied by two adults brave enough to endure the "10 minute" walks and the cramped overnight train with us:  Rhonda McAllister and Linda Moss.  (thank you, ladies!)  We saw SO much and had such a good time!!  Mrs. Cox and I are ready, willing and able to take a group to.........Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, and Florence in summer 2013  !!!
