I have been married to the former, Erin Whiteside (East Limestone Alumnus), since May of 2003.

We have 2 children: Nicholas Kyle (Nick), 7 & Kathryn Elizabeth (Katie Beth), 5 

We lived in New Albany, MS , for 2 years after we were married. Our son was born in December of 2004. The following summer we moved back to Alabama (Sweet Home Alabama), specifically Jasper, which is where I grew up in the Curry community. We lived in Curry for 3 years and I taught in 3 different schools within Walker County and Jasper City over that time. While in Walker County, our daughter was born in June of 2007. We now live in East Limestone. It feels good to be an East Limestone Indian.

My mother-in-law is a teacher at Creekside (Mrs. Barbara Whiteside), and my father-in-law  is a New York Life Insurance agent and also the Music Director at Fairview Baptist Church. (Mr. Carter Whiteside)  My son, Nick, is now in the second grade and my daughter, Katie Beth is starting Kindergarten at Creekside Elementary. 

My wife has been a teacher and coach also, but now is the Aerobics Director and a personal trainer at Encore Fitness.
